i am going to have a pretty sick setup of rails this summer:

-2 8.5 ft. flat rails

-8 ft. flat box gap to 8 ft. down box

-25 ft. down flat down kinked rail

does anybody live in CT and would want to get in on a rail session over the summer, i'm just checking to see how many people live close to glastonbury ct and would be interested

right now carpet and mulch on a steep hill (we tryed it and you get ALOT of speed) some other kids who said they are coming are going to bring trucks to maybe go get snow

let me get this straight...that was one of the 2 flat rails, that was me just checking the speed of the carpet, the 2 boxs needed repairs, as did the other flat rail, the 25 footer is still being built but will be done by June 24, I did the boxs last weekend and they were great, everything will be ready by the 24th. I haven't been able to post more pics cuase it hasn't stopped raining.

ok, those pics were VERY lame i admit, it was the first day i got the rails, so i got a little overexcited, recently i have raised them all, so the flat rails are about up to ones thigh, also i widened them by adding another 2x4 the long way and pvc on that, the boxs i strengthed and replaced some sketchy pvc, speed is easiy gained on my hill, and i've sessioned about 6 times, all were awsome cause you can mix and match the rails together, create longer ones (flat-flat-upbox-flat box is my favorite) i am currently building a 25 ft. kinked rail

so theres only a couple more weeks until this rail jam is supposed to happen, the date in JUNE 24, i'll be railing ALL day, obviosly their will be like pizza/energy drink/soda/halo 2... pop me a message if you live in CT. or close by and want to stop by and check it out, i need everybody's phone number to call to give you my address, we may have some other kids bringing snow in a pickup, but be prepared for carpet, which works well enough, so message me with your phone number if your interested or have any other questions, put the date on your calendar

i spent $16 on everything, i go to the dump as often as i can and take stuff home, and my mom doesn't spend crap on me, however she did give me $20 to by your mom undies

Rails dont need to be perfect, as long as you can slide on them they are good. PVC, wood, metal, anything you can slide on.

^^^^ this kids got the idea, you can't expect a homemade rail to be without faults, the fun part is thanking god after you succeefully slide it every time

build metal rails
