Insulated vs noninsulated

im lookin at getting last years siver ten 4 jacket but cant decide between insulated or noninsulated and by the way i live in Pennsylvania so its not as cold, any suggestion would be sweet

if you live in PA then i would get a noninsulated cuz you can always wear a hoodie under it and take it off if you get hot

Even Siver's insulated jackets are still extremely thin/cheap shit. Go with a higher quality outerwear company... then get a shell if you like wearing a hoodie underneath or get an insulated if you like wearing a shirt underneath. I'd say it's personal preference more than anything.

i skied in my insulated stukaII threw some of the worst east coast weather and it was greate. not only did the rain not go through, but it was also warm when it was freakishly cold out.

I can't believe so many people back up Siver... they make the cheapest outerwear I've ever tried... regardless if they're a newschool oriented company, their products are still shit.

Why the hate on Siver? granted I've never owned a jacket of theirs but i usually hear nothing but good things about them. I was thinking about getting the ten4 this year as well, The one on getboards..does anyone know if that insulated or non?
