Instant mashed potatoes

if you were to spread instant mashed potatoes on someones lawn and spray them with a hose, what would happen? i only ask because a freind said it was a good prank but i have no idea what it could possibly do
 
Instant mashed potatos is like a powder but when you add it with water they turn into mashed potatoes
 
One second thought, thats genius. it'd be hard as fuck to clean and you'd attract so many bugs/coons it aint funny
 
It would at least make some pretty nasty goey shit.

Schools have auto sprinklers too, so you could just ditch the sruff, and be long gone before any mashed potatoes showed up.
 
hmm im not sure how well it would work. Because you need hot water for the dried potatoes to absorb it, and also you generally have to mix it a little. Definitely worht an effort though
 
If that thing with instant mashed potatoes is true, do you think a mass amount of potatoes would be slippery? I'm thinking of a new snowgel...
