Every now and again a good photo rolls across instagram. 95% of the photos on instagram though are shitty photos with a shitty "filter" applied.

The concept is cool, the execution makes me want to vomit.

The "filter" is mocked after a real photographic effect. I see no problem in it and the pictures look amazing. I follow a couple well established photographers, one of which shoots only in film and they don't seem to have a problem with the app.
