Instagram: Full Size or Square

Curious as to how you personally prefer to see Instagram photos posted.

Full Size = Using an app like Instasize or Square Ready

Square = Straight through Instagram.

I love the full size, it benefits video big time and I like seeing a properly framed photo as well, not just a square.

The newly updated Instagram allows you to post full size without having to use a third party app like square ready. Glad they finally switched over to this new style.

I will say I did like the square style for one reason: It forced those people that always shoot tall/vertical videos with their phones to have square videos on Instagram. I can't stand the tall videos and the people that always shoot them. I always ask those people shooting vertically if their TV at home stands on its side, because that's essentially what they're doing. /rant

From my knowledge I think they still crop it a little bit. Not a big deal though. Personally I use Squarespace since I like the look of the clean cut profile. It is a bummer that it makes in considerably smaller. You win some you loose some.
