Yo guys, just wanted to remind people about the Inspired Demo Tour that will be starting December 18th at Sugarloaf (NO LONGER THE 7th!). People should come out and ride, should be a really fun time with Henrik, BDog, BPaul, and a few others.

This is what Iberg just sent me as the updated schedule for Maine:

12/18 Sugarloaf Mountain

12/19 Saddleback Mountain

12/20 Sunday River Ski Resort

12/21 Shawnee Peak Ski Area

12/22 Lost Valley Ski Area

I'll be at the Sugarloaf stop writing up an article for NS to show the greater community what it's all about, and I'd love it if as MANY as you guys could make it there to join us. The larger the group that shows, the more fun it should be! If you can't make it to Sloaf, definitely try to catch one of the others. I'm hoping to make it to all five!

looking at the schedule, they're doing a lot of their spots during the week. i wonder what the reasoning behind this is.i understand passes might be cheaper, but i mean if you're trying to raise stoke for the sport why not do it when the most people can watch?

Because the tour is stopping all around the country, if they can get through the state in a week they'll move on to the next location. Its all about efficiency and getting to as many places as possible

yeah but i mean you push everything back 2-3 days and some resorts you'll have kids lining up to see these guys.i mean how crowded are mountains at midweek? if the point of this tour is to get kids stoked there wont be many kids to see them if they are there midweek.

i.e. my home mountain stratton. the IDT is going to be there on a thursday. the only people who are on the mountain are the SMS kids and they are gone by noon. everyone else has school regular hours, 8-2 or whatever. hell, on a friday, 8 ski patrol guys can hold down the entire mountain. with no night skiing, the parks will be empty. im getting repetitive with this but isnt it about spreading the love and getting kids stoked by giving them an opportunity to learn from their favorite pros?

Your absolutely right, its all about getting kids stoked, however if you limit them to saturdays and sundays you cut the amount of resorts they can visit in half. They aren't going to stay in the state of Maine for a whole month just so they can get to every resort during the weekend. Their goal is to visit as many mountains as possible. The one thing I don't understand is how some parts of they schedule are planned for skiing during the week then traveling over the weekend, such as from NH to VT...do you really have to skip the weekend to get between bordering states?

It's pretty good timing for them, they're gonna have some mad pow up at the loaf. I can't wait to see how they shred that Stomping Grounds setup that's quite nice for this time of year

Anyone know how much the shirts are going to cost? I want to buy one for my younger brother for Christmas.

the jump is sooooo $ right now because of the snow. So much fun today when you didnt get screwed by wind.

If you aren't here, I would suggest driving very carefully tomorrow. The roads are pretty bad.

What amazes me most about this tour is that they are actually going to Pats Peak in NH on January 2nd. Pretty sweet to see these dudes at my rinky dink home mountain

"Henrik HarlautThe bad luck keeps following me, finally made it to Portland, Maine but no bags because they are in Manchester... Anyone driving up to Saddleback resort from portland today, tonight or tomorrow morning that would have a open spot for me? =) Peace and thank you."

Someone help him out.
