Inside Syria

First off, let me begin by saying that I myself am in no way trying to instill an opinionated political thread.

However which way the thread may go, let it be, but I still have to think more about my true opinion on this situation and the U.S.'s / U.N.'s political involvement with it.

With that being said, I was on the VICE channel and saw this video pop up. It was released 2 days ago and is simply one man's camera in the heart of the clusterfuck that is modern day Syria. I thought of it as a video to be shared not to stir political opinions about whether or not the U.S. or other foreign aid should act on the crisis, or get into jargon about how the rebels may be just as worse, but rather to simply show what is going on right now amongst the citizens of Syria. From hospitals being bombed, to bread factories feeding the needy, it shows the situation of the people's perspective from the battlegrounds themselves.

Regardless of your stance on the issue, watch this video to get a glimpse into the daily life of a Syrian citizen caught amongst the hellfire.

WARNING: THIS VIDEO IS INCREDIBLY GORY AND CONTAINS SCENES OF CHILDREN AND BABIES WITH GRUESOME BATTLE WOUNDS. NOT A VIDEO FOR THE WEAK OF HEART OR STOMACH.

raw shit

Vice does some great work. I recommend you take a look at some of their "serious" videos. And I only quote serious because they do entertainment stuff as well.

shits fucked up, I wasn't sure that America was making the right choice until I saw this.

sometimes. vice is on point for many of their pieces but there's a bunch of hipster garbage, too.

watch documentary on liberia....lil african kids smokin crack talkin bout rapin chicks lol

This is so fucked up and crazy...Something really needs to be done with this, so it makes me sad that Russia stands behind Assad and makes a 3d WW possible if America goes to war against Assad, which needs to happen ASAP.

Hate me all you want, but this is a one-sided piece of propaganda. The people will always suffer and die in wars, but you don't see Vice doing a documentary about the people maimed and murdered by rebel attacks. They won't report about the beheadings of Christians or the massacres of Kurds.

"The Syrian rebels are not just a bunch of freedom loving democracy activists."

The US should help the refugees, not bomb Syria, nothing good will come of it. Many of the rebels against Assad supported the AKP's religious radiant face.

Here is the Syrian opposition torturing a women

We should not be aiding these rebels.

Both sides are committing disgusting atrocities.
