Inside Edition has done it again! "Sloshed on the Ski Slopes"

Next they're going to do a story about too much coffee on the slopes. 'and we saw one skier knock back three coffees before he went skiing. This much caffeine in your system is dangerous according to that doctor we paid off'

I'm confused. Was that supposed to be funny? It was about as bad as journalism, if you can even call it that, gets. It's too bad because I've always thought there is a real issue with drinking at resorts - but the skiers themselves are not the story. Even if they were, there was no story here.

No addressing the ski hill about their policy on bars at mid mountain lodges, no talking to the bar tenders at said lodges about if/when they cut people off and who is liable. They could have at least followed the skiers down a run and see how their skiin was after a few beers. Talk with them about the drinking culture in skiing as opposed to at them with accusations and shit.

Ultimate facepalm. Anybody who can read knows that sucks. Drail, you make an interesting point. That perspective, regardless of one's stance on the issue, highlights the quality (or lack thereof) of the article.

What a sad excuse for an article. I'm guessing that girl didn't ski a single run. Is it safe to tailgate at a football game? No. Is it safe to drink anywhere under any circumstance? Not really. But people do whatever the fuck they want and our system is working fairly well I'd say. I hate that some girl from hollywood comes into a very tight nit and niche culture and decides her views are more valid than people that ski everyday.

I think the best way to deal with Inside Edition is to just ignore them. Every time we watch that vid it gives them another view and more incentive to make another. Do you think they would have made this one if the weed video wasn't so controversial and talked about for weeks?

All Inside Edition is trying to do is provoke controversy. They know their vids are shitty and terrible journalism, but that gets people talking about it. Don't feed the trolls.
 
I am so fucking livid about the piece on Arapahoe Basin right now. That place is a fucking home to me and they are spreading shit on the best mountain near the front range. Everyone there, especially the staff, acts like the place is a family. You can't find more of a local mountain besides Loveland in the Summit area. The beach at A Basin is a tradition and it's a fantastic way to celebrate a common passion, there is never a foul intention there.

I wouldn't doubt that this, the other parodies, and the several people who argued drinking was just as bad is what spurred on the inside edition in this thread. They really are a bunch of trolls so I'm sure they're finding all the reaction to it hilarious.

Their hypocrisy and dogshit logic just makes this a laughable piece of news. Anyone with a brain knows they want people to get mad over this story, so stop playing into their bullshit, guys.

it would be such a fucking slap in these cunts faces if everyone just made fun of this story. Like really, its humiliating as fuck working your damnest on something serious or whatever, and everyone shits on it.
 
Someone NEEDS to follow around all the inside edition "reporters" and get them doing anything then running up to them and yelling at them we have you have tape what do you have to say for your self ! Then post all footage on youtube.
