Yo, the CU ski/snowboard club's headin out there for spring break this year. has anybody skied in the area before and can ya give me some info on the better resorts and such? and any websites if you know of em. i dont wanna spend the $900 (a fucking screamin deal, yes, but still a bit of cash) and find out they havent had any snow since xmas because i know how nucking futs the euros are when it comes to skiing on nothing.

Innsbruck is amazing. Of course you are gonna have to go to St Anton and Kitzbuhel. But I must suggest Stubai Glacier (http://www.stubaier-gletscher.com) since its a glacier there is no need to worry about snow. Check outhttp://www.innsbruck-tourism.at for more invo...I also suggest if you have time take a train and ski in switzerland too or go to Italy.

yeah, switzerland is bomb, but pretty damn expensive so i don't know if you're going to want to do it... or if you can even get out of innsbruck. also, if you get a chance to visit zurich, it's the coolest city on the planet. youre a lucky bastard.

 
The current issue of snowboarder has an article about Trevor Andrew and Austria in it...you should go to a grocery store and read it there. I'm pissed your going to Austria, I want to go, I can't write any more...

 
I'm going on that trip regardless of if there's snow. Think about it, would you rather be in Colorado, which you know pretty well, or someplace you've never been before? I'd rather go somewhere else even if there isn't snow. And since it's Europe, there's bound to be some snow somewhere, we could just hop on a train and meet back up with the Ski Club in Munich to fly home.

this is true^, thanks for the tip on snowboarder and i'll def see if theres any mailing list for snow report on that innsbruck thing.
