I hate how people are always like, 'its the gayest thing ever' and all that. i see nothing wrong in kids doing it because they like it more than skateboarding. i'd really hate it if kids who inlined started skateboarding, even if they didn't like it as much, just to not be ragged on. it may look kinda gay w/ all those jumpy grinds n shiz...

But when i do it, i just pretend i'm on skis. it helps a ton to get spins w/ grabs down for skiing, you can grind like you would on skis which is what i always do so that keeps my grinding skills up over the summer, you can get 5's down in the pipe to help w/ skiing, or go off a ramp into somethin soft to get confidence for certain tricks you wanna do on skis. If the kids like the sport, then respect the fact they even do it even though they get tooled on by everyone. it helps for skiing a ton if you do it as if you were skiing and gets you off ur ass in the summer and it's good excercise too. So stop tooling on the inline skaters please. thanks. have a good one.

Boardemguitar - thats bullshit. NO snowboarder that i know rips on skiers, they give them props just as we give boarders props if deserved. I think you may want to compare inline skating with Snowlerblading, NOT skiing.

negatory, rollerblading looks gay. period. have all the fun you want, its fine, its not up to anyone but you, and making fun of you for doing it wont really do anything either. but despite it all, rollerblading looks homofucktual.

 
i dont really like inline but i give um props and i can see why if you ski you would inline. ivve seen some crazy ass gaps from inliners that shit can be tight.

 
i dont flame anyone unless they do somthn cuz its a trend (fat 10 year olds that snowboard and call skiers nigger face) blading is fun, so is fs walkn. and ppl say its gay, who gives a fuck. why ppl want other to stop doin somthn fun is beyond me.

i only inline in the summer when i wanna practice my skiing. and i think skiers should take after inline, in the pipe that is. look at the yasutoko brothers. the California roll or wahtever is sick, and the viking flip, that is like a flatspin way out. and sdouble backflip 180s, they also go switch a lot too. in the usmmer, when i wanna ski really bad, i inline, and it helps with rails too.

i think it looks just like ski boarders or whatever.... i think its all gay... i skateboard and ski. inline just doesnt look cool and i dont think it improves your skiing at all.

people who say that inline is gay but not skateboarding are the people who say skiing is gay but not snowboarding. BUT you know y do you have to dis for respect to feel better about your self. I know people who rip on skateboards, inline, skis and snowboards you got to respect everyone to not be a big fucking hippocrit By the way i Inline

don't pass judgement on a sport as a whole based on a couple bad skaters who looked retarded. people pass judgement on skiers as a whole because some skiers are old rich one-piece wearing carvers, and that's bullshit too, because they're just having fun as well. k now im rambling

 
i used to skate and it was fun, but then i started riding bmx and it was funner, but skating did make the transformation to skiing a lot easier for me.. i almost thought about getting another pair of skates just so i could jib during the summer, but riding is just so much better that i never have the urge to skate once i step on my bike
