Injury updates?

I was reading the Superpark article and there are so many good skiers who aren't going. So does anybody know what's up with all the injured people. Are Seth, Pep, Henrik, or Wilson and a bunch of other riders up and skiing again. If those guys can't make good movie segments, especially Seth, then the movies next year are going to be lacking.

There are a handfull of spots still open that the movie companies can still use to invite people, so we may still have a chance to see the likes of pep and seth.

ya everything in skiing is so huge right now people are dropping like flies, i really cant imagine what skiing is going to be like in 10 years, at this rate a few pros will die a year

yeah i;m sorry to inform everyone that i didn't get a single fuckin thing filmed this year before i blew my knee (of course it was in t he first week of january so what do you expect) so i will have no segments in level 1 or poorboys, which totally blows. but i am now about 2 and a half months out of surgery, i'm into my weight trainging, and my knee is coming along 'amazingly well' to qoute my physical therapist. that means that i MIGHT get to ski a little bit this summer, and if i stick with my training i will DEFINITELY kick some major ass next year...

There is a limit to what we can do safe. Wilson proved that this year with his well planned table trick gone wrong. I see no reason why we have to push it any further the human body can only take so much and we are nearing the limit on jump lengths. style and what you do off of the jump can be pushed but bigger is getting iffy no?

yo, if you wanna see seth on jumps, just check out the first Ski Movie, he keeps on bustin lincolns and backs all over the place.

and the talent pool in professional skiing is big enough that even with all the injuries this year, there will still be some other sick skier to take a movie segement

i saw seth doing a switch back off of a table! He's good but Big mountain is so much sicker if you guys could see those chutes in real life u'd shizzat yourselfs. Park skiing is not real skiing it's park skiing. Most of these up and coming park rats can't turn.. just spin... and grind you all think your progressing the sport but your just making a new one...

well i busted some steez with my home boyz t-dizzle and C.R hommee. we shredded the mountain like it was da atomic bomb dawg. then we whent shredding in the backcoiuntry. tanner was scared and pooped in his pants. so i wacked him in the head with some line skis i found and then i burned them in a pit of doom. then pep dawg came and jumped off a cliff. and unluckily for him he pooped. then c.r tried to save him becasue he is gay but he pooped to. but then sane came and got down saftely. but pooped becasuse of the fire pit. then i jumped too only i did a cork 10000000000 1000 backflip 180 and stomped it.

Derick Finn is awsome.. I care if he got hurt. I was totally dissapointed with his ski segment in Forward with the lack of jumps after Strike 3. Show some respect. Not just to him but everyone.

Ya Finn is a good skier and he is with Volkl I have seen him in some of Berman's movies and our team manager at Volkl speaks very high of him, you little fucks mouth him off for having confidence after he just got hurt you are such losers and need to get a life. If you ever want to mouth off let me know when you are coming up to Whistler and I will be more then happy to make a fool out of you, little shit heads you are such a bunch of losers. your attitude will get you nowhere very fast. enough said

and thanks to everyone for their support. i definitely need to focus on my rehab and keep my confidence level up to be able to get back into the scene next year, just like everyone else that has ever had an injury. and yes when i said i was going to kick some ass next year i was not claiming that i was going to kick all the other skier's asses, i simply stated that i wanted to ski the best i could by kicking ass on the slopes but some of you just don't really understand english i guess and got offended. well to that i will just salute you with my middle finger

Derek Finn is still lame as hell. I'm with Telestar- Finn comes on this site all the time talking shit about how good he is. He can slide some crazy rails, and thats great and all, but lets not forget that our sport is still called SKIING, and not JIBBING, and really, he sucks. I've seen him ski, or at least try to, in Mammoth last year, and he can't jump, or turn, or jumpturn, for that matter!

yeah, i don't understand telestars posistion at all. i'd like to reference Finn's segment in strike 3 in which he floats one of the coolest cork 3 safetys i've ever seen as well as cork 9s and 360s over HUGE GNARLY GAPS and his rail skill is quite immaculate as well. i figure that it is queer as hell if you judge other peoples skiing ability based on nothing. the shit you say is gay telestar, go to hell.

how can you NOT call derek finn a big name, he is definitely up there. If having consecutive good and average lengthed segments in Berman's movies is not a big name I don't understand what is... Finn is one of the best urban sliders right now and he is smooth in the air as well, I simply don't understand.
