Anyone else injured right now. Just got word i'll be out for 12 weeks from really bad ec shoulder separation. Can barely walk or get out of bed. And of course im out when my East Coast resort got 12 inches..

Damn that sucks man, +vibes. Thankfully I've never had a serious injury while skiing, mainly bruises.

I'm out till at least march do I feel ya man. I tore the meniscus in my knee and I have to get surgery next Monday. +vibes and best of luck recovering

Fuck man. I fell on my chest on a rail last week and I guess bruised my rib, and now it's worse! It hurts to breath and yawn especially, so frustrating, I just want to fucking ski. Vibes for you with the more gnarly injuries tho

walking involves holding your upper body up. could also be referred pain (ppl with gallbladder problems sometimes have shoulder pain, because the nerve that goes to the gallbladder splits from a nerve up on the top of the spine the also sends a nerve to the shoulder). when i get blue balls, i cant do anything

Vibes man. Last year broke my leg. Its not so much the pain as it is not being able to ski. Hang in there! A friend of mine broke his collar bone recently, he went to Bristol too.. Alot of people get injured there.. =/

what feature did you hurt yourself on at bristol? I take it you did it in the mini park on c box or something?

I was on the mailbox goin pretty fast, doing a surface switchup, caught and edge and slammed right on my shoulder. It blew. I would never think i could have injured my self badly on that thing but ya. Still my favorite rail.

Thanks man. Don't worry you wont get hurt. If you end up falling dont go down on your shoulders. As soon as im healthy im going right back at that rail!

broke/shattered my humerus (arm) in late november. surgery, plate & screws, now about 7 weeks in and feeling great, hit freeway today! injuries aren't all bad, they teach you how to be smarter about things and bring back the pure stokeness of skiing.

Yep! Had a compound fracture of my tibia plateau whilst skiing just before christmas.. Ended up spending christmas in hospital! Had operation same day of accident as well..

Almost 4 weeks on with this fucking full leg cast.. Got another 2-4 left, and another 6-8 at least on crutches. Season's over for me.. Sucks balls as this was last year I could race, and first time I was at a place that enabled me to race at all the competitions.

If it helps man.. I missed 2 weeks of ski holidays when the Alps got 3+ metres of snow.. I know what you're going through... Shit can be depressing but just look at the likes of Hall, Dumont, and how McConkey dealt with all his injuries.. and then you got the likes of Marc Andre-Belliveau.

Just take super extra care this month of how you eat, sleep and what you drink. It will make a difference.

Under-rotated a backie yesterday and slid down the landing face first. Snow got kinda scooped up in my lower lip and tore it away from my gums. Now there is a pocket inside my lower lip thats like half an inch deep and goes from one side of my mouth to the other. It's sucks cause i can't eat any solid food so I have to drink Ensure for all my meals...going to a facial surgeon tomorrow to see if they can stitch it up.

Still...this isn't so bad as it won't keep me off the mountain. I was able to go back to the hill and make one more bloody victory lap after I left the ER. I'm just thankful it wasn't a lot worse.

sucks man... vibes. my friend is in the ER now and i dont know whats going on. He may be out for a few months. I'm lucky not to have gotten hurt badly yet, but i still hope you recover soon. Good Luck man.
