Injuries blow yes?

broken neck this fall from playing football... gotta wear a neckbrace 24/7 and probably will miss my whole skiing season :( can anyone else feel my pain here? literately?

Injurys are the worst man! I broke my collarbone last season as well, and i just broke my scapula and otta miss some of the season.

holy shit, vibes.

ive never had an injury that completely stopped me from going skiing, but right now i got this nasty shoulder problem that will hopefully heal up before my mountain opens, but its doubtful

injuries happen to athletic people..

the tragic irony

i feel you in the opposite way man. tore my rotator cuff skiing when i was 14. still pops 8 years later if i'm not careful

Look at it this way... Maybe a pound more force, an inch here or there and you might have sat in a wheelchair for your whole life.

I had a broken neck once and it sucked. So yeah, I really feel your pain.

injuries suck. i have a metal rod in my back now that held me back for about 2 years and im just comming off of a calcaneal fracture. should be healed up fine by january hopefully. gl with your neck, that cant be an easy recovery. just hang in there and remember that its not permanent; youll be fully healed sooner or later

haha ya man I do last year two days before first time going skiing broke my ankle skating haha missed half the season its brutal man never stepping on a skateboard again ahaha.

Fractured one of my lower vertebra about a month ago, skiing indoor. Won't be doing anything untill Jan-Feb. But lot's of other nice things to do so it will be over before i know it!

I had a similar thing but not as bad from a shattered elbow, took me out for an entire wakeboarding and half ski season! I feel for you.

Yea a lot better than "vibes" will. I think it's ridiculous that people think saying vibes takes the place of a "hope you have a quick recovery" or even a "good luck." It's such a stupid fucking phrase.

Anyways, good luck dude, hope everything works out. What was the cause of the break? You get it? Make a hit?

One of the kids on my team got a neck injury in our game on Thursday and is in a brace for a few weeks until his back and neck are all fixed.

got about 2cm of snow and i got so pumped i went for a little ski in my backyard neckbrace and all! no jumps or rails thought cuz i probs woulda died but still feels soooo nice to just get out there and carve!

why are you questioning literacy? you might want to get checked for brain damage, or just stay in school.

Sucks man, not as bad but i got run over by a car a few days ago and broke my ankle...gonna miss alot of skiing.

+k and vibes man after seeing this makes me so feel not as bad for myself. I just today fractured my ankle and will miss first half of the season. And its suck because Timberline just opened too.

that sucks dude. are you still going to play next year? and my friend just broke his back catching an interception

They do suck broke my ankle first day of the season last year was in a cast for most of it and when I got to ski a bit at the end it was still pretty tender and couldnt ski on it too hard :( now it's the first of the season again and I'm absolutely terrified to hurt myself and be out again...

Torn both meniscus in my left knee in April and didn't have surgery till the end of July. Can't ski till middle of January now which isn't bad just really sucks

What part of your neck did you break?

I fractured C4-7 amongst other things, so I get what you're going through.

Im comming back from a broken leg and went skiing today and it suck my leg hurt so bad even if my doctor told me i could ski. I hope you'll recover fast !

yeah dude. I have a spine disease called scheuermann's kyphosis (sort of like scoliosis but instead of a left to right curvature it is a front to back curvature, I dont want to go into details) and also have to wear a brace most of the day for it, 18 hours. it blows. Im not missing my ski season, but If i cant correct or slow the curvature I might need to get spinal fusion surgery and that would end my freeskiing for life... but ++vibes dude, I know it sucks but power through it. I know what I did is I got a camera and got into filming, and its good to take my mind off of things, maybe you should do the same or find something else to occupy yourself.

Does anyone else have problems with thigh/hip injuries? I fall on my thigh/hip area a lot hitting rails, and then my leg just swells massively and it takes a long time to heal. Not to mention I just keep on falling and it gets worse and worse.
