didnt that kid who did the backflip to kink rail, jon mcmurray i think his name was, didnt he shatter his ankle?

what about candide?? did he get hurt after superpark? there was that collision with sarah burke but they were both ok.

Chris - Goes for an MRI on wednesday to see just how bad or good it is and then his surgery (if needed) will be scheduled from there.

Candide - un-injured, he just hit his head at WSI but he's all good.

Tanner - just bruised his tail bone, he's all good.

uhh im an idiot and forgot who else you mentioned but I haven't heard about mickael lately so dunno. And everyone I've talked to knows basically nothing about pollards whole incident. And my MCL is a bit of a bitch but I'll be skiing by july fo sho. John Mcmurray did indeed shatter both his heels. Rory Will is hoping to get back on snow by november, he has being going through psych evaluations and all that crazy stuff and is getting better. wear your helmet kids.

Just a lil update on the scene.

You couuld say...'oh, this sucks, this is gonna hurt the sport so much...'.

Don't get me wrong,. i never want to see anyone get hurt, but the injuries to the top names leaves gaps for up and comers to hit, and make a name for themselves while the bignames are sleeping.

mickael broke his patella into 3 pieces, it needs 3 screws and a wire to fix, he had surgery at home in switzerland last week.

mucmurray only shattered 1 heel, but it is really bad and needs full reconstructive surgery.

rory bushfield (who no one seemed to realize was injured) broke 1 of his vertebrae in his back, but he will recover and be alright, no nerve damage or anything.

rory silva semi-reinjured his shoulder which was slightly broken, but he should recover fairly soon.

tanner's ass is getting better, only a deep bone bruise, but it keeps him from even being able to sit on his ass on a couch.

turpin went home to probably get surgury on his acl, but i haven't talked to him yet. either way he is in good spirits and will hopefully be back on snow for the end of the summer, at least to just ride around.

laroche had surgury a few weeks ago on his acl and is gonna be back possibly by the end of the summer, and most definitely next year.

rory will is doing much better and going through therapy and stuff to get back to normal.

peter olenick is getting better, his bruised lung and 2 broken ribs should be fully healed by the time he goes out to dig at high north.

some good news: skogen is just about back to normal and riding really well these days, and iannick b is healed and both his arms are fine. he was busting out on the rail line at superpark.

pollard and collins i know nothing about yet, hopefully they are both ok.

thats just a little bit of what i know, hope that clears anything up.

good its like fucking Vietnam and shit

This injury list is rediculous.

How many people have to get hurt before we realise that we have a lot to learn?

I think we just need to simmer down a bit, stop trying to hit such HUGE jumps and do what we were all talking about at the beginning of the year.

Style.

Why can't we all just get along?

This is off the line site.

Incase you hear something about Eric Pollard falling into a Crevasse its half true, but not really. Eric Pollard hiked out into a big wide open canyon in the backcountry a few days ago to build a jump on the edge of a cliff and hit it with some snowboarder friends. On his 4th hit, he landed on his feet but then fell on his side and SLID 80 feet or so at which point he stopped laid on his back and waited to be sledded out. X rays showed two fractured vertebrae in his back = he can walk around fine but can't ski for 8 weeks, doctors said there is no long term damage. If you want to see the half true, kind of sort of not really story click on the link.
