Three winters ago, I smashed my big toe so hard so many times into the front of my ski boot. More and more pressure built up underneath the nail, and it turned purple. So we put my foot on the drill press at work and went to town on the thing. The moment that the drill bit broke through the nail, was epic. Puss, goo, and blood just exploded all over the place. The wall, myself, and the people standing around watching, were hit with the mix. It was the greatest feeling of relaxation and pain being relived that I've ever had. One week later, I took a pair of needle-nose, and ripped that son of a bitch nail off, and that was that.
