Informative speech topic

I just got assigned an informative speech. I was thinking doing something to do with skiing would be easier and enjoyable because I already know a thing or two. Any one got any Ideas?

After searching around I came across using the History of skiing as a topic. I cant just do freestyle skiing because its to broad. any other ideas?

history of skiing would be cool, show the progression of the sport from the sides of equipment, talent, ski areas, that sort of thing... i'd listen to it...

you could do something like the history of freeskiing over the past 10 years.. a little narrower than all of skiing.
