info about minnesota

i am getting transferred by my job to st paul. i have never been there and dont know a thing about the area. can any of you locals help me out with where to look for a place thats cool to live in the area? i can drive up to 45 minutes to st paul. am looking to be close to a ski area with a decent park. i prefer smaller suburb type towns as opposed big cities. any suggestions where to look? thanks

hyland hills in bloomington has some pretty sick jibs. it has a couple 25 to i think 40 ft kickers. not sure though. wild mountain in taylors falls also has a nice park.

im from wisconsin, i was jus suggesting spirit cause its the only place in minnisota ive been to and it was tight.
