Indoor Ski Resort

There has been talk of one of these in Ashville, NC and Atlanta GA as well, but the on in NJ seems to have the best shot of actually happening.
 
i passed by it a week ago and by looking at it, i think the outside is done. and theyve been planning on opening it this fall around october/novemberish
 
yea, just saw that, they're saying Spring 09, but most likely it'll get delayed and should be ready for next summer. I'll definetly get my summer-urge fixed booyah
 
I have a feeling this wont be done for years, if ever. Especially now with the shitty economy. they werent even able to fill half the retail locations a few years ago, let alone now.
 
I've recently gotten a tour of the snowdome and it is alot larger than it appears from the outside. The dome features an overhead chairlift and an adjacent 'beginner' area with magic carpets. Key details of the dome, staffing, programming, pricing etc are still being worked out, however, there's a good chance parks and features will play a major role of the daily ops. :)
 
theyve started construction back up on the rest of the mall there, so maybe something is happening. Still, so funny seeing that it's been 10 years since they started
 
I have to find the most current link I read an article just last week, it’s owned by new ppl now and a company called Big SNOW is making the ski place now. It’s projected to open 2019. The mall has now resumed construction as new ppl invested in the entire mall and renamed it. Here are some articles regardless. Get hyped!!! I know I want to practice my skills all year long.
