yea europeans dont have v-pros because volkl just produces their skis in germany and then ships them to the us, but doesnt sell them in europe.........

 
Fuck people jump to conclusions so easily on here. I havn'e yet looked at that site yet, but i was there riding that pipe on the day, and let me tell you that its the shittest pipe i have ever ridden. To be honest, anyone who got more than 3 foot out of that pipe deserves a medal, never mind one of the guys (salomon rider) who pulled a d-spin 7. The guys sponsored by Line and Salomon deserve it, they are some of the best in Europe. How they perform on a pipe made out of ice, with way too much vert (and an overhang in places that kicks you into the middle) should not reflect their ability.

agreed, why are people such dicks. just because the pipe sucked dosn't mean that they aren't pro's. besides, if you saw some of the raw footage from the Siver Sessions you'd probably say that most of those guys weren't pro. don't jump to conclusions and don't be dicks

i used to skate at rehab in wakefield... as for skiing ive not done it for years. taking a gap year next year- going to make the most of it, work at ellis-brigham hopefully -> free skiing at snowdome, practice lots then utilise my cheap PE's for some rails and jumps. want to learn to ski good first though, try not be a 'park rat' or whatever. although at xscape thats what it all involves...

Awesome. Im staying in a place just north east of london which i understand is about 45 minutes away from this place, so ill be there as much as possible. How much does a pass cost, and what else is there besides the pipe?

Right lift passes are ridiculously expensive, but if u are staying here a while then it might be worth getting a job so you have a free lift pass. As for trains you can get them to Milton Keynes from London, don't know about prices but you could get a railcard for the duration of your stay to save some money. more information at www.xscape.co.uk

Yea, good to see Englands got some decent facilities finally. Used to drive 3 hrs up to tamworth for 2 hours riding back in the day to snowboard on the snowboard night. No new school skiing back then so no choice but to snowboard. Was pretty cool though.

 
A train ticket is 30 pounds... ($75 canadian!!!) for a 1 hour train trip! .. oh my.. and i can only assume the lift ticket is even more expensive. I cant get a job because i am not a citizen there (although i was born there, so i can get a passport/citizenship any time i want, but it would take a while).
