Indoor dry-ski park near Toronto, ON

Id say-

(one hit option? $5 a hit)

3-4hour pass- $20

day pass at $30

weekend pass/3day pass $80

season pass (spring, winter, summer, fall) $275

full year pass $400

When it comes to a place like this you need more then just a snowflex kicker + rails. You need olympic style tramps, foam blocks, a skateboard mini pipe, and if youre a really cool guy youll put a spring diving board that goes into the foam pit (oh and a zipline)

and of course 100% free for everyone in this thread:)

I'd try to do the same thing/something similar as Joyride 150 (indoor bike park:http://www.joyride150.com/). So you can have lets say group rates, by a block of tickets, try to get some sponsors, camp/coaching, events (like joyride has women only on a certain day for a couple of hours).

Seward,

You're not being a dick, you're just assuming I don't know what I'm doing, or maybe that I'm 15, and saying so a bit.....dramatically.....but have no fear. I would talk about how big the market is for this but I'd be preaching to the choir. Obviously the start up cost of this is going to be hefty, but this is just a basic feasibility assessment (and no I'm not a millionaire - but don't forget about financing!). The first step in this for me is talking to customers, not necessarily a bottom line costs. I want to have a perfect idea of what you, the customers, want, so that I can develop something even better that you will all love.

I've started looking into property/plant/equipment costs and insurance is next. The basic feature talk is to get a primitive picture and to help get the conversation going....thought I'd grab your attention with the more exciting aspects instead of discussing my certain future debt!

Be optimistic!

no where in that did i say you were 15, or that you didnt know what you were doing.

you claim to have already started on many of the things i suggested starting on. however, no where prior to this post did you mention that you had already started on those things. therefore i was left to assume that you had either not considered these things yet, or were as i put it, putting the wagon ahead of the horse.

since you have, you obviously know what you are doing and i wish you all the best.

as much as this is a great idea, i think the ontario ski scene is too apathetic to make this succeed. Just my opinion though, good luck.

best wishes with this man. remember to try and get sponsors. they could help with the costs of pretty much anything and you could sell it really well to them because you would have a huge market with skiers in borders across ontario. I from buffalo and i would head up there no doubt. good luck cant wait to see this if it goes through

just my opinion man, it sucks when you see cool things show up in ontario and it not working out like people hope it would. Things like pwned, if3 toronto and polson pier were all great things, but ended up not working out as expected.

But that was years ago, maybe things have changed and i'm just bitter.

how much do you think this venture will cost? you will definitely need investors and better have one hell of a business plan to convince someone to invest in your carpet covered hill. no building will have the head room to make any amount of slope or have the length to accommodate the length needed. best bet would be to have a coverall style building custom built to be erect on a slope. I just can't see it happening
