Indirect advertising on T.V.

Well i was watching the olympic qualifyer mogul thing on nbc when i noticed that everyone had a pair of bolles on and it was pretty clear that there was no restrictions and then i saw a guy who had a pair of von zippers on and had to put tape over the vz logo on the helmet anyone know why he had to do this? i thought that it was pretty gay and ridiculous.
 
i noticed that dewd with the von zippers with tape over the logo but i just assumed that he didn't have any goggle sponsor so he covered up the logo
 
^ i'd say what he said. Some pros who don't have sponsors black out the logo. i think Philou did it with a pair of Line 1260s a long time ago in the WSI??

I might just be imagining things, and made it all up though.
 
Well, I think the reason the guy had tape over his goggle would probably be because

1. The Video is from a FIS World Championship (I know this because when I was at the W-championships in Finland we had to put tape over all our sponsors, and stickers taken off our skis, it was weeeirddd.)

2. Von Zipper is not an official sponsor of the U.S. Ski Team. If a gear company is not in the ski team's product pool (this means that company not only has to give equipment and money to the athlete they have to give tons of $$$$$ to the Ski Team)

i dont know for sure, i have yet to see the commercial, but thats what i think
