I call BS

In order to live you need glucose to make energy in the form of ATP. This is used while you sit there just in your brain and in your ears and nerves keeping shit equilibrated ion wise. You need intake of glucose for this to work. Your body physically cannot make it and there is no way anyone can go 70 years without eating or drinking
 
i implore you to try and go 2+ weeks with no water. not only will the pain be excruciating, you will die. the average human can go about 3 days before death....

to go 21 days without food or water is an extraordinary feat in its own.
 
i think that are culture has become really ignorent to the fact that there is so much about the world we still dont understand.

people 500 years ago also thought they knew everything, i think we no much less than we think
 
there are just some things spirituality cant do... like make you keep living off fucking nothing. i agree that a strong belief that some greater power is going to help cure your cancer would probably get rid, or help you live with cancer. but some things are just physics... the human body is not physically capable of living with no source of energy.
 
It would be extraordinary if you weren't also a lying cunt who claims to be able to survive for 70 years without food or drink.
 
while it has yet to be proven whether or not he is lying (yes i did see your posts on the first page, they supply ample reason for disbelief, but only time will tell whether or not he is lying) you must agree that it is amazing that he has gone that long without water
 
dude, what the fuck. are you honestly going to try and argue that a man depriving himself of water for at least two weeks and showing no ailments from doing so is not cool? i mean, it doesn't completely go against everything we think we know about the human body and its water requirement or anything....

and whats with the unfounded hate for the guy? because he claims to have not eaten or drank for 70 years, and so far has been able to go more then 3 times the length in which somebody will be presumably dead from dehydration?

did i ever say i admired the guy? that last comment could not have been more irrelevant.
 
If this man has really survived six days without water already under close supervision, then he should be taken to area 51.

If he can photosynthesize, this could be real? Like a walking plant. However, even if that were the case, it'd be useless, because he's an ascetic, he's celibate, so there'd be no way to get that trait out of him, unless he broke that vow.
But realistically, it's fake? Who knows
 
This really isn't anything new, its been going on in eastern countries since forever. Some kid from China who everyone thinks is the next Buddha or something hasn't done anything but sit and meditate without sustenance for like 15 years.
