Indian Arm Trail

alright, so I spend this weekend hiking around

Seymore and it was really fun, yea.

went back to Elsay Lake and stuff... it was good. But the trail kept going past the lake.. i didn't go too far on it 'cause it was getting dark so i went back, but i checked up on it when I got back home.

This dude finished making this trail (totally independant - same dude who made the Grouse Grind) that goes from Elsay Lake, northwest up the valley to Vicar Lakes than over to the peak of Mount Bishop. from there it makes it way around Indian Arm, eventually making it over to the PoCo area.

it's apparently flagged, so if you can find the start of the trail it shouldn't be too hard to stay with it.

It's 50km of up and down big verticle so it's not for pussies. It's way harder than the Howe Sound Crest Trail (2-3 days, could be done in one, but why? and 30km or so).

oh, and i've also got a bit of info on a trail that goes from PoCo (Pitt Lake area) up to Squamish area... it's called the gold rush trail or something like that, but it's really hard and overgrown in a lot of sections, so if you want to attempt this you'll need machete's.

nah, the baden powel trail goes from horseshoe bay to deep cove along the edge of the city... made by boy scouts and stuff.

this one dude ran the whole baden powel trail in 4 hours. (fucking nuts).
