Incredible freeclimber!!!!!

wow I would have pooped my pants if I were him. Did you see how he jumped from one positon to the next? hes hundreds of feet from the ground and hes jumping from a wall!
 
now that i think about it, going fast might be better. if i would go slow, id think about what i was doing and how high up i was. going fast you dont think so much....nevertheless, crazy fuck.
 
I KNEW THIS GUY WAS GONNA BE FRENCH, its not an insult, the french have produced some crazy guys, like that spider man guy, a guy that jumped from the eiffel tower in a wingsuit, amamzing mountenieers and such

wow..that was a pretty nasty dyno for someon leading that even...thats fucking tits for a free solo...thats like a 5 pitch climb too..that would take like an hour plus to lead that...yikes
 
im curious as how they get all the video shots... down low, then high, far away...

they probably did^ when your filming leading and shit people actually rapel don half way with booms and shit to get the angles..its crazy

Yeah Osman is an intense character. His modified bungee was just jumping off a cliff and swinging on a nylon rope. Wow.
 
shit, I think I remeber a video of him, he Pratically base Jumped using a climbing rope that stretched like elastic. Not as much as a bungee cord however.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure, but I think that was dan osmon. He's dead now. His climbing rope snapped when he was doing one of his bungee style jumps. Whoops.
 
ya that guy, dan osman is the greatest climber to have ever lived. The next best isnt even really comparable.

Osman was a rapist on the rocks, his bungee shit was rediculous, my friend has that whole movie and his segment in it is retarded, he lived for risks like that and shit finally caught up to him i guess, the sad thing is he left a wife and daughter behind.
 
yea i watched this documentary type thing on him on TV. He was killed though, from his jumping off a cliff with just a nylon rope thing. He successfully jumped this one cliff once but then when he went back to do it again with the same rope it snapped.
 
most of that climb looked 5.8 or 5.9, he cruised it though.

Peter Croft freeclimbs up to 5.11c these days...not many people could even get a foot off the ground at 5.11c
 
I went mountaineering yesterday, me and two friends were scrambling 4000 vertical feet. A few of the free solos scared the living shit out of me. One about 300 feet from the summit was maybe 80 or so feet off the ground, I was tired and I had to traverse this wall with a pack on holding onto loose rock that was flaking, all I could picture in my mind was falling the whole time it was nuts. We had an injury at the same place I had to traverse so we had to call it off and head back down. The last hour or so of the downclimb was in pitch black with no ropes climbing down cliffs and shit it was such an incredible experience. You had to be there I guess. I'll upload some pictures of it soon.
 
Little cottonwood canyon Utah, Going from Lisa falls 7,000 to Mt. Sullivan 11,000. It was a really awesome trip and we almost made the summit in 6 hours. I've never scramlbed like that before it was crazy. It was like a 5.6-7 the whole way with a few 5.9ish sections, no ropes. We trekked non-stop with like three or four breaks only a few minutes long. I overtaxed my body bigtime yesterday
