Increase in price of keg of key light

Is anyone else really upset about this? Iv been told that there will be an increase from 40 bucks to 55 bucks for a keg of keystone light soon, along with increases in the price of most other beers. I could understand a slight increase but this isn't slight by any means. I dunno i just don't want to keep studying for my midterms tomorrow so i figured i'd see if other poor college kids new about about this and are as annoyed as i am.
 
Thats bull shit. I heard the price of hops was going up a while ago.

BUt seriously 55 bucks for keystone light? come on...
 
Dont get me wrong, i hate keylight, im a fan of good beer, point is when you hold a party in college your looking to go as cheap as possible.
 
i mean, even in college, $15 for a 30 of keystone light aint bad. at 50 cents a beer, ill buy as many as i need no complaints
 
Wait will the price of a 30 go up??? if it did im gunna be broke. Keystone is 10.99 a thirty pack in Maryland. But if prices are going up im gunna stock up.
 
HAHAHAHA. I hate you. I would kill for 30's around here to be 10.99. That's amazing. If I were you I wouldn't bitch even if the price went up for you even 3 bucks.
 
well i dont know about keystone. but when i was a freshman 1996 in college a keg of beast was $28.50 . wqhen i graduated 2001 college a keg of beast was $44. when i go back to college to visit now 2008 a keg of beast is $53. so one might say inflation. but at the sam time a keg of labatts was $65 fresman year. now it is $72 big disparity there ibn percentage price change. it is beer stores around colleges know they can shaft you on the cheep kegs cause people will pay it. shit i remember freshman year sitting around the fraternity house with one of my brothers going give me 5 bucks lets get some beer. then some one else would walk in and i would do the samer thing we would get like 5 brothers together on a random night start out with the plan to slplit a case and end up with a keg it was good times!
 
WHAT THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! GOODAMIT! question has anyone ever gotten the Orange Can? I never did and I bought so many 30s...
 
I've always paid $55?

Sell 25 cups for $3 each and I've still made 20 bucks, plus all my friends drink for free.

In ontario we pay fucking over 2 bills for the CHEAPEST piss beer shit you could ask for for a keg. 55 bucks? and your complaining. Im going to stick a dildo as thick as this font in ratio to normal faunt up your ass so you actually have something to complain about you fuck.


 
you get your stomach pumped for free though, in america we pay for our excessive drinking in doctor bill/hospital bills.
 
yea, pretty much eh? i dont even know how much one is in bc, but $10 for a 30? what? its like $6.50 about for a 6 pack of PBR.
 
the huge jump is probably because a price increase has been in the cards for a couple years, but the recent economic problems have sped up the process

really? you sell a solo cup of key light at parties for $3? that's such an asshole move. who in their right mind would do/pay that?
 
this is very upsetting news...looks like we might have to change to busche, it was only 37 to refill to begin with, hopefully itll still be in the 40's after this increase in price
 
oh, that makes sense. i've just never had to pay for beer at someone else's party and i've never made people pay at my own unless they willingly wanted to throw to get a new keg... usually key light for $45. haha.
