I've been called "emotionally stale" in the past. Although I'm not stale at all, I realised something this evening, I never cry. I can't even remember the last time I did. I was wondering if anyone else never cries, and since the internet has a certain degree of anonymity, I might get some honest answers.

alright well at least im normal or we are weird, but maybe people who cry won't admit to it. I just never understood the point of crying, what does it actualy do to make you feel better?

I always cry. Usually when I'm scared, and that can be physical or emotional, ya know?

Matter of fact, I cried two nights ago, cause I was really scared that I was gunna lose my front tooth due to this whole death-pain thing that's going on..

By the way, I'm a girl haha. Not a really emo boy.

 
oh theres a point, those two times that i did cry it was like the emptying of lake missoula. you feel like a different person when its over, a little bit like busting an epic nut.

im emotionally messed up too...i cant remember the last time i cried..but it was prolly when i was 8 or 9....idk for some reason i cant get sad at the right times... ive been at 2 funerals in the past 4 years or so..my grandma and my grandpa and both times i had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing..... wtf... i kno this isnt right but i cant help it, everytime i hear that someones in the hospital or someone i know isnt doing to well i smile and then try and act like im surprised or something..i kno im not laughing at the situation because i am upset that their not doing well... but i seem to be laughing at the sad reactions on everone elses faces...... fuck im messed up!!

I couldn't sleep for like 2 days cause it really hurt. I thought I was going to be toothless and gross, and I kinda have a tendancy to SVERELY overreact to injuries.

^ yeah, i dont' cry unless someone that i know dies, thne it really hits me. Two months ago my best friends mom died and i was histerical there, because youi know that you never got to say good bye and you'll never see em again. It's just emotional at things like that

One of my friends died a few years back. I was sad, but didn't cry. My rottweiller died a year later and I was like a little pussy, crying away.

ya, I definitly think crying does make me feel better. I don't understand why, but it definitly does. I cried a lot this past year (4 deaths close to me within 2 months of each other), and eveyrtime, I felt better afterwards. It's very strange, but it definitly helped me feel better at the time.

crying is extremely good for you. everyone should do it. the reason you cannot cry is probably derived from some deeply rooted familial problem (such as your parents not letting you cry when you were in the crib at like 2 rs old and suchZ). this leads to the inability to cry as an adult even if you do not know why. i had to teach myself to cry when i was 13 because my parents always yelled at me for crying during the developmental years of my life. anyway, good luck with that.

Sometimes I feel the urge to, like when I work so fucking hard at something and then it just doesn't work out, but usually I just move it to the back of my mind and try to forget about it. I haven't cried since my cat died like 6 years ago.

I hate it because it looks like it should be called the Prison Shower.

you know what i hate, when u get hit in the nose with something and you get teary eyed, but your not crying. like i was playing basketball a few year ago in gym and got a ball right in the face, got teary eyed, but it didn't hurt too much. probably everyone thought i was crying though

ive only cried over emotional things,never over pain,well when i was younger over pain

i never do either, although i had tear duct surgery as a young kid and like if i get hit in the nose i get mad tears. its so goofy, like i talk normal and am totally calm, my tear ducts jsut fuckin rupture and water pours out of my eyes... cool shit

 
I can't cry either, I only get to that 'almost crying' state... But sometimes when I'm really really fed up about something, when I'm mad about something or furious My eyes start to wet,and sometimes a tear falls, but not so often.

I had a time in my life, some 4months actually, something happened and ..ah well I just didn't stop crying for a long time...so if there's a crying capacity I think I've used mine up already and just can't cry anymore. I know I would cry if I lost somebody special again, but only then I guess..
