Inbounds shred at aspen snowmass

Where are the sickest inbounds spots with drops and rocks at snowmass/highlands/ajax? obviously I love the bowl but some days i'm a lazy piece of shit and don't feel like hiking

Some of the best runs I've had around the bowl were dropping in around mushroom. Barely even a hike. Those trees hold some great snow, and everyone skips it to go to the top of the bowl. Hard to go wrong with any of the trails going down to deep temerity lift from skiers left as well.

I lived in snowmass but mostly just rode park or with friends. Didn't have too many good snow days there and don't know names of what we went down. Just kind of followed the leader.

I found some good stuff at Ajax but again it we were just stumbling on this and that. Only went a few times. Some pretty good terrain at all of them other than bmilk, and even then, some stuff off tiehack can be fun on a good day.

Hanging wall valley & cirque at snowmass, Steeple chasers & olypmpic bowl on Highlands, Someone made a huge jump on ridge of bell last spring.

You gonna be in Aspen area this winter?

When did you live in Snowmass??

Snowmass has the most drops: Hanging Valley Headwall I & II, Cirque Headwall, Baby Ruth (and mini-ruth), Rock Island, Hanging Valley Glades and Upper/Lower Ladder all have fun drops of all sizes.

Highlands has a few cliffs on Deep Temerity lift and some others hidden around the mtn. Highlands is more steep but doesn't have a lot of drops.

Aspen has a fun jump my friends usually build a kicker toward the bottom of Walsh's, Blazing Star drop under Ajax Express lift is a good show boater and there's some good stuff off International and there's a bunch of natural/built up jumps all around the mountain.

All of last season. Had a work visa issue and got stranded in the states. I don't really fuck with cliffs but I like it steep. Probably rode snowmass once a week. But mostly rode the park or drank some beers with the park groomers.

Damn. Wish I knew you were here. I almost never ski the park and I ski Snowmass 80% of the time. I know a bunch of the park crew.

Word, I didn't work there though, I worked at Bmilk. But know a few guys on the crew there. Actually tried to move over there mid season. Park crew at bmilk was kinda bleak. It wasn't even that people didn't want to work, they didn't even want to ride. Never seen so many people sit in the shop all day on their phones. I would just dip and go fix all the rail takeoffs, because they would get pretty heinous. At least snowmass guys would be out riding and the park was generally pretty well maintained.

I just worked there for a season though because I needed a job. Back on the VR life now. #soepic. I like it there though.

Aspen fucked up hard on that video. Could have been so much better.

Agreed, pretty fuckin weak but thats been the norm lately for all the skico produced content. There are people other than colter who ski around here, lame to just have his highlight reel repeating ad nauseam.

Agreed, but it's not just the focus on him. Those snowboarders they used sucked at riding and footage they used was boring/lame compared to the radness of the other submissions.
