Inbound skis for backcountry

I am looking to buy a touring setup however I would much prefer a little extra weight for downhill performance. Whats a good all mountain/big mountain ski that could be used to tour with and wouldn't be too heavy?

I was thinking maybe the on3p billy goat (or maybe another model), faction ct 3.0, armada JJ zero, moment bibby and line pescado. Any thoughts? Ive never purchased a touring setup so I am new at this.

I absolutely love my armada JJ zero. By far the funnest ski I've ever owned. I have them mounted with marker jesters then I have daymakers for the days when I wanna do some touring. That way I'm not sacrificing the performance of the ski by mounting a touring binding on it. In my opinion it's the most perfect setup ever.

I'm 5'4" so anything in the 168-178 range I would say. Something around 175 would be nice

Yeah the 175 would definitely work for you. Where do u live at?

the 4FRNT Ravens are definitely something worth checking out. Got guardian 16's on mine and theyre a blast to ski inbounds. No tours on them yet but im just starting to really figure out how the ski rides. Definitely my favorite skis in my quiver. Perfect for storm days when its piling up, ~8-12"+ days on them makes it feel like bottomless waist deep turns.

I have the On3p Jeffery 114 and you can do anything with it, it floats like a dream. I take it into the park and it slides rails just as good as my Armada Edollos, it also light enough to swaps and spins out. Id recommend the Kartel 116.

Yep I have a pair too, good skis. But they feel pretty heavy.
