In ur opinion who is the greatest skier of all time

NO One best, but we should have a freeskiing hall of fame:

Schmidt, PLake, Morrison, McConkey, New Canadian Air Force (should be as group: Douglas, Auclair, Cusson, Dorian), Pollard, 3 Phils, and Tanner

These are the first inductees into the Hall o Fame.
 
there was this guy carving around the rails in shorts at the stowe rail jam, he was good. He needs to be admitted into the hall of fame.
 
Seth or Hall. They both did lots for the sport. When Tanner came out he was so much better than anyone else. He won every comp he entered all season. He pushed everyone, made them realise how good they could get. And seth... well ya I think people know
 
scott schmidt, mike hattrup and glen plake... if you don't know who they are, go watch any old greg stump movie (ie: blizzard of ahhs).
 
stump should be in the hall, i mean if coaches and annoucer can get in in other sports, we'll obviously let in the editors as they play a huge role.
 
mconkey, morrison, plake there is a difference between pure skiing ability and jibbing ability. although people like tanner kill it in the park and can throw down in the bc they jst dont have the pure skiing ability to match the guys i mentioned before.

then of course u have to include some of the great racers cause lets face it, as hard as it may be cause half of them are nob head racers they have amazing skills
 
for newschool im gona say eric pollard. Hes been a leader for countless years.

For canada the crazy canucks really put us on the map in the world of skiing
 
Either Doug Coombs (I bet 95% of the people on this site would shit their pants if they were standing at the top of some of the things he skied), especially because he made a total of 1 mistake his entire career (and he died because of it). He was nearing 50, so don't be like "he made a mistake he sucks." He made it the better part of 30 years without ONE mistake.

Or many early skiers we will never know. They would attack such ridiculous stuff on such shitty equipment.
 
Man... i bet 80% of this site doesn't even know the earlier days of skiing. Scott Schmidt, Plake, P-tex Lies and Duct Tape.

But.... i would say the New Canadian Airforce is collectively the best. Julien and JP KILLED it, and still do.

JP had a lot to do with the first batch 1080... then the Pocket Rocket revolutionizes fat skis..... And he has had amazing segments in every Poor Boyz film since the beginning. His performance in WAR was one of the best of the year. big mtn., urban, park, everything. still killin it.

You can't be serious. I mean he's a total steezeball and had a SICK ass segment in TBC but greatest skier of all time? Come on.
