In ur opinion who is the greatest skier of all time

i dont think it can be s aid yet...because skiing is still so young and it has a long way to go...like look at soccer for instence not that much changes so u can call out people form mad long ago(pele, 70's i think) and say they w ere the best players although ronaldinho is said to be the best now but u cant do that with skiing because we progress so fast
 
def seth morrison or t hall both brought skiing to a new level. all you hags who think that shiller is the best cuz he did a sw 1440 are wack. Hall and morrison laid the path for that shit. without them tj probly would have done a sw 180 in the us open big air.

seth morrison eric pollard and pep fujas i think have done the most positive influential things in skiing
 
OH MY GOD! I can't believe no one has said TJ BURKE or DEXTER RUTIECKI. TJ BURKE revolutionzed the industry by defeating hans, the evil ski instructor, Franz Hauser, by surpassing him both in the powder 8 with olympic hopeful Todd Pounds and surpassing him on the aspen ski school clinic poster. If it weren't for TJ and dexter, the industry would not be the same.
 
what i meant to put was 'what he said" to the second post..not tj schiller.. but that the sport is evolving to fast to tell right now.....obviously we all posted at the same time and mine ended up on the bottom.
 
Uh, nobody has brought up Jon Olsson yet, and thats sad. Seth, Hall and Olsson are probably the greatest three newschool skiing icons.
 
You cannot answer this question without breaking it down into sub categories. Such as:

BEST

Park

PIPE

Big Mountain

Average/Overall

etc.

You have to remember how different a lot of skiers are. Like Seth fucking owns on the big stuff, but obviously there are better park skiers.
 
as far as freeskiing i would have to say jf cusson. degenerates, the game, propaganda.... thats what brought skiing to where it is now.
