In the park urban or ride on rails in the park

Sorry half asleep at the moment. What I meant to say was, do you guys prefer to have urban-on rails in the park or just normal ride on (lip even with rail)
 
OP's mom prefers rails that she can ride on, but she also said urban are easier to lip slide.

I agree with the down rail part, ride on down rails are fucking dumb, but an urban on flat rail can be fun with a good lip.
 
Any kind of ride on sucks unless you're learning lipslides. I come on from the side anyway. If I try to get on with the rail between my legs, I always fall off (my) front. Probably because I'm so used to jumping to the side.
 
I think urban is always more fun if it's built well. A nice urban lip that sets you down smoothly on the rail right at the apex of your air is $$$. RIde ons just aren't as smooth if you want to pop or spin at all. They're great for learning though.
 
i just wish they would stop putting random pieces of metal in the middle of jumps, its really annoying having to jump off the side of them.
 
I like slide on if I'm learning tricks, just because I have the comfort of knowing I'm not going to clip my tips on the rail and die but if I got a trick down I definitely think that urban-ons are much more fun
