i was up at copper today and i saw pep there doing some of the most technical rail tricks ever, i couldnt believe some of the stuff, once people see technical tricks like that it will be the next big thing in my opinion
 
Yay i know those tricks like mule kicks, and double twister spreads on and off rails will become a big aspect as the old school becomes the new school......killer
 
he would start to butter like 5 feet before the rail would start and use the flex in his skis to launch himself onto the rail, like rightside 270s and shit, who knew he could do that
 
no, no i think he does, the spring in his ski is called popping by the way. Ya, all that was done 2 years ago
 
its a true butter, the way it was meant to be.......all these wannabes on newschoolers that "butter" really just look like they are pussing out on a switch on.
 
im takin sams side herewhen most pe say buttr they mea a little press in ur back tips w/ a 180 spin but pep was doing a 180 and holding the press so far back that once he relived the stress iit popped him then he did a 270 not hatting on tanner but peps was better
 
tech is definatley gunna get big, and i think we can only spin so much next is huge floatly airs and pipe wise i think switch from wall to wall will b next
 
I'm pretty sure Chris Turpin and the likes have been working on switch pipe runs for at least 2 years. You just don't see them in competition because its difficult to pump and keep your amplitude as high as say, Simon Dumont boosting regular.
 
after everything has been tried then there are certain skiers that move on to bigger and better stuff (in the past theres been skiing switch in pow, and spinning rigthside alot), then sometimes it becomes a big thing, i think that the next big thing will be technicality once everybody sees how sick some of the stuff is
 
Loic Collumb was linking plenty of switch tricks in the pipe at WSI in april. And he was dropping in switch.

sorry if you meant it as a joke, but isn't Niko fake? lol. And I was wondering where the fakie in the pipe movement went, wtf happened to Turpin? He did that shit so clean. I think it was Bibby that had some sick fakie7s in the pipe last year. That started like three years ago, didn't it? Maybe we'll get it in the X Games this year....lol
 
i hope stuff doesnt get technical. like 450 on then like 3 switch ups and 450 off. it looks gay. id rather seesomeone butter 270 on slide it super smooth then get off switch or a super smooth 270 off.
