Hey, i'm looking to buy a set of twin tips...they need to be able to last a few seasons, but i dont ski much-maybe 25-35 days a year... I've never had the opportunity to demo any, but i have ridden 03 Pocket Rockets, and i liked those alot. I have about 700 to spend on ski's/bindings, and ski about 70%groomed fast, 20%park and 10%back country...I'm looking at maybe the 05 1080's, and Look p12 Bindings, but i have really no idea what to even look for. I'm 6'3 180lbs, and have been riding 174's for a while, but i'm not sure if i should go longer or not. Also, i live in orange county california, so there arnt many ski shops, so id be ordering online. Any good online stores? any help would be appreciated, thanks alot.

25-35 days is alot to some people. yeah go bigger and if you want to spend the money for 1080's go and get 4FRNTS. they're way more chill.

And sexy as hell.

174 is quite short for you. You should be looking at a stiffer ski around the length of 185 since you like speed and groomers.

SMILE, its the second best thing you can do with ur mouth

pocket rockets suck unless your in pow...get another ski

It sounds to me like you can handle a rather beefy ski, and for your size, check out the 187 4FRNT MSP. I havent tried the ski myself, but I have heard rave reviews about it and it would be about your size.

I dont know if i could hadnle a ski that is half a foot longer then what im already on. a 181 would be pretty much the longest i could go, cause the flickability would be way off... are the look bindings good? also-online shop that sells the skis? i'm thinking like 500 for the skis, and 200 for the bindings

I'm 6'1' 165 lbs. I'm getting 182s. go bigger.

oh and look pivot or rossignol axial/power bindings are the best (they are the same binding)

And don't get the 1080s, because they are made of a cheap foam core. they just don't last.

Screw this I'm going skiing

look bindings are really good, they are proabably your best bet but if you get the p12/p12 jibs they might cost a little over $200. You could also check ebay for skis.

tweaks would be nice for the speed and grooming plus they are an all around nice jib ski

'i just rented good will hunting , how is it?'

'lets put it this way, even matt damon cant make it suck.'

'matt damon? hes in con air right?'

'yes , yes he is.'

yeah-i wear size 32 boots...

i can get a good deal on 03-04 Armada AR5's, 176, which would come to about a 1/2' above my eyebrows

ar5s are a good all mountain ski but for a big guy like you id reccomend the ARV instead..in 185 or the ar5 in 180..but deff stay around 180-185
