Not to undermine any members on this site, but I think a book might be too much for many member's attention span.

It's a philosophical piece on thrill-seeking and the pointlessness of life, and how one perceives staving off depression because of feelings of emptiness.

In a nutshell... Work in progress.

Much like in everything else, practice helps. I've been writing short stories in English since the 4th grade.
 
Well, this I wrote sober during work. The angel piece I wrote when high off life and hungover. Otherwise, no substances needed or wanted... Why is it always when someone at least tries to do something different, you're always "high" on something, as if writing a satiric piece with a bit of imagination would be impossible without drugs.
 
Keep it up man. Do you write professionally? Or just a hobby? Cause if you are not getting paid, you should start.
