great video! I thought it was weird that they ski just like North Americans/Europeans though - I thought there would be some difference in style. Japan seems like another planet sometimes because of the language/culture differences, but these guys look like our pros once their on skis.

Yeahhhhhhh XD... comp looks sick man. I'll be in Japan in two weeks! We will ski next season if I stay for more than the season. Sick comp.

Oh yeah, in the next couple years, I wouldn't be surprised to see even more jp only outerwear and ski companies. The japanese snowboard scene has tons of its own companies and pros. Its a different scene with little cross-over to North American or Europe. There are some exceptions like Tadashi Fuse or Shoya Okazaki.

ya i agree. There's a lot of core skiers who are local at the resorts and who really kill it. of course nearly 99% of the non-locals (kids from tokyo and shit) are still gonna snowboard...
