so im probably getting a trambopoline next summer and i was thinking of making it inground...has anyone ever done this?? seems simple...just dig a hole and line it with bricks so it doesnt cave in?? anyone ever had an inground experience?? i saw a video one time...but thats it. i dont know much about it. thanks,.

makaio has done it. i dont think you should need to line it with bricks, just slope the walls...

theres a place on cape cod that i know of that has a bunch of inground trampolines. they charge people to go in and use them for an hour or whatever. they dont have bricks but they do have concrete footings but not complete concrete sides. if i had to guess you would either need the concrete or brick to keep the sides from caving in but you dont need it for the whole length of the wall.

Thats a big ass hole. You should check and make sure there are no pipes or wires running through the area and im sure the town would give you a hard time about zoning.

A park near me has one.. its sick to bike on.

I could see it benefitting you since if you miss the trampoline thats above the ground you have an extra 3ft fall, where as inground saves you that. Plus it would look cool if someone see you, looks like your jumping a good 7ft on flat land

yeah i know a friend that did that.its cool if its level to the groun cuz it gives you sooo much more confidence plus you can do tricks off of it without breaking your ankles.

if you ahve a lot of property it would be sick, and access to some pretty decent machinery to dig it, cuz thats a big ass hole, i always thought about doing that just dont have enough room in the backyard

I don't think that the greatest idea unless you have a lot of land and you live some place warm. When I had a tramp in my back yard I enjoy having the ability to move it around to different areas. Plus I always took it down in the winter which gave more room in my back yard, instead of just having a big hole. Plus that is so much work to dig a hole. Also you got to call up an electrical company to come in to find all of the wires that are buried into the ground. Sorry for being so negative rather than positive, but I find it more of a wast of time than anything

seriously its so worth it. my friend has one and its so much less sketchy to try new shit on it because no matter how crazy you fly off the trampline you rarely ever get hurt. plus you can back suv's up to it and stall on a spare tire or roof. plus not to mention how quickly you can jump off or on to switch with people. they didnt line it with bricks or anything a

yeah its not exactly like the edge rails are sealed against the edge of the hole.

a trampoline in a hole isnt exactly a sealed unit.

when i was leik 4 my neighbors in utah had a inground one. it was mad sick i usta go there all the time and jump on it. but i now have a above ground one. inground would be soo sick cuz u can liek run and do flips from the tramp off on to the ground

u coudl liek set stuff up to flip over. my frined has a indoor tramp liek a olmpic square one its mad sick. i can bounc up and do backflips and run accross the celing. its insane. we go jump on it on coke with strobe lights.

My neighbors used to have one, but you always bounced into the ground and it hurt. I think they lined the hole with weed mat.

^if you fall off, its not as far of a fall. thanks for the tips guys, once summer rolls around ill call the electric comany and shit to find wires and whatnot....unless summer stays all year... fucking ontario

thats sick and a lot safer, but you have a better chance of neighbors coming over, jumping on your tramp, getting hurt and sueing youor black ass

when you have it in the ground its just generally a whole lot safer.

you dont fall as far to the ground when you fall off, so you feel more

comfortable trying new, faster flips and spins and stuff.

which is the point of a trampoline for training for ski season.

yeah windells has a little dinky one thats partly underground, this was two summers ago so idk if its still there

the one BOB was bangin as shit though

^^ Yeah the ones underground only partly are kinda sketchy.

Thats how they are at the hill i tramp at. But they have sick water ramps so its all good.

you should put it like 3 feet underground, then you have to jump up to get out, and if you fell it wouldn't suck. but you'd need like a 10 foot hole, and an excavator

i have jumped on in ground ones and they are so sick

but you cant do as cool tricks off of them as a regular tramp

and if you do put it in the ground then makesure the supporting walls are real good so the sides dont cave in

and if you plan on moving or you like your yard dont put a huge hole in the middle of it

but good luck
