In desperate need of some assistance

Alright guys, Im only doing this out of pure desperation. I have an essay due on friday on the evolution of halfpipe skiing and how its made it to the olympics finally. If anyone has written anything at all on any topic similar please let me know! Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone helps out enough they will receive a free gift in the mail! Thanks
 
its due friday, and your writing about skiing?! I have one due tomorrow on Newton and his impact on enlightenment thinkers as well as the resistance of the Romantics and I haven't even started. I wish mine was due friday. =[
 
Yeah true, I'd rather be in my boat than yours I suppose haha. But its 8-10 pages and ive got nothing, also have 2 midterms between now and then.
 
seriously just make an outline. it helps so much.

write about various parts of the sport

evolution of the sport trick wise

important athletes

contests such as x games that push the sport

tanner dumont rivalry

ski companies

there's so much you can write about.

and obviously don't forget about Sarah
 
this is how i work efficiently. Get your evidence first. Make the topic sentences and then the first half of your paragraphs than fill it out another time. then revise.
 
Yeah see thats the issue, its for a Sports History class so I cant just ramble on about all the shit that I know about and love. He shot that down and said I had to talk about the evolution, where it started, ow they classify an olympic sport etc.
 
Say what?!? If you can help in anyway that would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone knows of anyone who has written on anything similar that would be amazing
 
how generous are your parents with your allowance?

1 page translates roughly to one hour when all the research and citing is factored in, 20 dollars an hour, we could work something out if you have a meth hookup...
 
Well seeing as though I dont get an allowance and I dont have a meth hook up we're shit out of luck. And since I can't be sure what you'd write would be any better than something I could bs $20 a page is way out of my price range!
 
The only paper I got on skiing is one that covers the different polymers that go into different types of skis and how the frame of the ski differs. The paper later goes into an explanation of what polymers I would use in designing a unique ski for myself. its all yours if you want it
 
Well I appreciate it but I dont think that'd be much help unfortunately. Come on I'm sure someone on here has written something about this!

you can get it for free in itunes store under the freeskier podcast. Documentary about tanner and Dumont and alot of it is of pipe skiing, other is about dumonts life, skip what you find irrelevant, think this is a great source man, good luck.

8 - 10 pages and you are writing it on something with probably not a single real academic source? You are just being stupid.
 
Sorry, but what kind of bullshit schol system are you kids enrolled in that you can write an essay on halfpipe skiing?!?! It has absolutely no academic relevance whatsoever, nor any practical application. Any analysis will be at best, recounting a narrative history of the immaterial events that resulted in some IOC official giving it a rubber stamp. Keep school for learning about important things, and skiing for when you want to have fun.
 
I'm an accounting major and made the mistake of taking a Sports history class as an elective (we are required to take 4 out of program courses to graduate), its not so much about the material you right on. its about being able to produce a quality essay, with a strong thesis and the evidence to back it up.
