In between of bibbys and jeffereys?

So I’ve got both, Jeff’s are 102s.

I love the jeffereys, but like the bibbys. My only gripe with the bibbys are they aren’t as fun at tossing around and fitting my style. They fucking rip, and do great on gnarly stuff, but for the mellow run outs they are really boring.

The jeffereys do the gnarley stuff but are also a blast on mellow side hits and ollies/nollies are perfect.

Could it be the width? Possibly, but if not something with softer tips than the bibbys, but still kill in powder is what I’m looking for.

Should I stick with ON3P and maybe billy goats? I also only have like 4 days on the bibbys, so I could just be getting used to it. Maybe armada JJs? Could care less about carving, just want a bouncy ski like the jeffereys. I could just get wider jeffereys but seems like I’d have some overlap

I've tried other skis but always came back to the jeffery series. Everytime I strayed, I always came back to the fun shape and lots of pop. A Jeff102 and Jeff116 or 118 would be a great quiver

My last two skis have been Chipotle Bananas and Bent Chetler 120s. I love my Bananas, but they definitely aren't what you're looking for if you want softer and more playful. They are stiff, particularly for a ski in the 120+ waist category. They charge with the best of them, but you have to put a lot in to get a lot out.

The Bent Chetlers, on the other hand, sound like they're more what you're looking for. Stupid light for their size, very poppy, great in the air, fun on mellow snow, and the only reason I don't ride them as much as the Bananas is that they don't handle choppy chop all that well (what 1800g ski does?) If that's not what you need/want, and it sounds like you don't, the Bent Chetlers are definitely worth a look.

Never ridden chetlers but yeah the lightness is what held me back. I love rippin through crud and if they are like reckoners then way too soft for me.

The bananas interest me just cause of the shape compared to the bibbys. A lil more freestyle sounding and lots more rocker. Gonna message moment probably

Sounds then like what you're looking for is Bibby/Wildcat stability but with slightly softer tips for better pow performance and a maybe a little less weight (but not too much less) for a more playful feel? Hmm... Gotta think on that one. Volkl Revolt 121, maybe? They're a bit heavier, but here's a sampling of the comparison with the Wildcat from Blister. Sounds like it's what you're looking for:

"The Revolt 121 is a bit like a more freestyle-oriented Wildcat...Revolt 121 for a more balanced, freestyle-focused ride, or Wildcat for a slightly more directional one."

Maybe you'll like the Bananas, but despite my personal love for them they're just not for everyone. I definitely wouldn't call them "more freestyle" than the Bibby/Wildcat. At 5'10"/165 I can barely bend the tips enough for a proper nollie/butter, and the stiffness contributes to some float issues at low to medium speeds. Float isn't a problem once you get going - it's even less if you mount a cm or so back from the line (though that obviously diminishes their balance and playfulness) - but they're not as instantly surfy as you'd expect for a 122mm waist ski. They also have a really odd sweet spot that's great once you find it but will weird you out for a few runs as you get used to them, especially if you tend to ride forward and drive through your tips. If you're more upright and balanced, though, they fucking rip.

Sheesh thank you man, huge help here. I have looked at the revolts and they look really nice.

Appreciate the info
