Howdy y'all! rootin' tootin' jordan here, I'm in switzerland and i thought I'd poke a turtle head into here and let y'all know how its been, I was in Wengen to start out, skied the first day that i don't remember much of because of a killer bar i found called the blue monkey, check it. I mostly remember hitting nails into a stump with the back side of a hammer and getting wasted with english kids. after we closed the bar down we went to party in some english girls hotel room but the swiss police decided to chase us thru some fields for i still don't know why. Now I'm in Zermatt, the snow is pretty good, I met up with a local photog and he showed me the real Zermatt. skiing back bowls of nice vertical and great snow, skiing over crevaces. Down massive glaciers next to HUGE ice falls. amazing doesn't describe it. we worked our way down into a bottle neck canyon with a huge glacier/ice cave that we walked/crawled thru the dark ice about 200 yards under the glacier to the other side. UNREAL. chris the photog said the cave has only been like that this winter and he is guessing that it will collapse this summer. i still cant belive what happened today.
