So I wanna make a chill summer edit this weekend while Im alone up in VT, but I don't have Final Cut or anything.
I'm new to editing, and am wondering how shitty iMovie is....can you actually make a decent edit with just iMovie? Does anyone ever use it, or is it just a joke?
Thanks for the help....and any editing tips/ideas would be appreciated.
 
everything except for titles is legitimate. slo mo is choppy and the transitions tend to be very corny and schoolish but if you take your time you can make it look decent.

o and make sure you watch a tutorial on youtube about how to post it on the internet cuz its a little tricky to compress correctly.

but yeah moral of the story is if your just gettin into editing imovie is a really easy way to learn the basics and become comfortable with the different functions so go for it. any time your trying to have fun with something it wont be considered gay
 
word thanks alot man. I 'm pretty much done with it and will post it soon, it's pretty corny liek you said with the aged film and shit but just for fun so watever.
