Imovie question

Ok, so I did a project on Imovie last year, and I have all my footage saved into that movie/file/project, whatever. I want to start a new movie/project, using some of the same footage I used before. so is there anyway I can copy the footage and clips from one project to another one with out redownloading the clips straight from my camera and DV tapes again? I want to keep the edit from last year cause I spent a long time on it. thanks

depends if you saved a copy of the raw footage or if u cut some of it down without making a copy. look at the original media files.

I cut it down without making copies cause I had no idea what I was doing.

its probably gone then, look in the folder of the movie name.
