I wasn't talking about any one specific time, he's just smart and makes sense when he talks about the economy.
I hate to recommend The Daily Show for serious political thought (fucking hilarious though), but check out the clip here. Starting at about 1:50, his thoughts on giving bailouts to the big banks a couple years ago.

I was really high when I saw this on TV and it just like blew my mind. It is seriously one of the only times I've agreed with something a politician said. I just thought, wow, if he makes that much sense in 3 minutes on the fucking Daily Show, I wonder what he'd be like in a debate. And if you look up more stuff, he's pretty solid man. Way smarter than your average breed of politician. I wouldn't trust Bush, Kerry, McCain, Palin, or Obama to drive my fucking car but I think Bill would probably run a country all right. Hell, he did.
The other day a teacher in one of my classes said that Bill Clinton won't probably be that historically significant in 100 years because all he really did was not fuck anything up. He's probably right, but IMO all the government should really do is not fuck anything up. Compared to the shit we've had lately, not fucking anything up would be a godsend.
Thats why I was hoping for a Hillary win last election. She's meh but Bill Clinton shadow government sounds like a good idea to me.
I don't really think the government should be involved in peoples lives at all but I think that they should be heavily involved in the economy and regulating business and whatnot. We need them to protect us from these people that only want to turn a profit, but they don't, they just let those people do whatever they want. They actually help them screw us and take a cut of the profits.
