So we just got an assignment where we have to come up with a personal budget based on a job we could get with only a high school education. So NS, what are some good jobs one could get without a college degree?

+k for good suggestions

Own your own business, or work in a factory. At the factory I worked at this summer, most of the full time employees didn't go to college and were still making between $13 and $20/hr.

i made $13+/hr 1st year working... i was 15. job interview was less than 10 seconds.
13 is shit.

Air traffic controller - Probably got to do military for a little while and the job is boring and you have pretty much no say where you live but you can make 100k a year.

Oil and Gas industry - Live in BFE and work your ass off 12 hour days 7 days a week, then you get a week off but you can easily make over 120k a year.

Truck Diver - Long hours and boring ass work but I think you can walk into a 60k job.

Just high school or do trade schools count too. Mechanics, welders, and other trade school grads can make a lot of money if they are willing to work hard. ~40-150k

There are a lot of jobs that you can have with out a college education so the salary range is literally 0-billions (Gates didnt graduate college.)

watch the movie "thank you for smoking" it's about the life of a tobacco spokesman, that'd make an awesome subject for sure !

Alaskan Crab Fisherman. Seriously. You will have the most badass job in class and you make a ton of money in like six weeks.

obviously you don't have a job because if you did, you would know a full time employee at burger king wouldnt be making minimum wage, and the employee would get periodical pay grade bumps

I've never worked in fast food, but I've been working in other industries for several years and am now looking for a career because I graduate from college in May. Don't get sassy at me because I don't know as much about BK employment as you.
