how much of a difference will .1mm on a sensor in both width and height make?
like 22.3x14.9 vs. 22.2x14.8

a full frame sensor is 36X24 i dont think a tenth of a mm is going to make a huge difference

it could make a difference in higher resolution prints couldn't it?

not at all your thinking about this wrong, a smaller sensor(.1mm) will just not capture a little tiny part of the scene. it wont affect image quality its not as if there are pixels missing. thats why on a cmos camera you dont get the full angle of view like you do on a full frame.
its almost like if you step back one feet or even less with a sensor .1mm smaller then you will get the same picture as a censor a tiny bit bigger
