Well, I don't know much, but I know that JP has been around for fucking ever. Watch X=10 or Ski porn, they both recap a bit. Obviously any of the older movies will show you too. Here's a decent list of some basics that I'll come up with...

its probly going to be hard to find legit sources for history of newschool, unless your teacher doesnt care that so and so on newschoolers said blah blah blah. i dunno, skiing papers are tough
