Wow... ok, I would have to disagree. There are a lot of good things about the Canadian system. Here's the first important thing about Canadian democracy that they have over the US: Canadian cabinet ministers are actually elected officials, rather than apponted officials. The people actually running specific aspects of the country are the ones the people have elected. There's also the 'More viable parties' aspect, and the fact that independents actually have power (Chuck Cadman). And they did it all without proportional representation, thank the lord. . There are many ways the Canadian system is better, don't be too quick make assumptions like that.

 
canada does have national healthcare, but its not of high quality. plus some people end up dying because of waiting for care, where in the united states they would be treated asap.

 
^Funny thing: The Cuban health care system is ranked higher than the US's. You're right to say health care in Canada is pretty screwed up right now. A lot of it has to do with funding for nurses and doctors, which keeps being cut, and a lack of doctors.

Ah, I see what you mean. I thought you meant political action... you know to improve the country? You'd rather they all left, though. Ok. Canada will thank you. Unfortunately, the immigration 'line-up' to get into Canada is over a year long. So I guess whether they're inclined to action or not, most people are out of luck if they plan to move.

 
^What do you mean by 'Everything can be Canada'? I mean, as far as cultural diversity goes, noone else IS Canada... if you mean their system of gov't and social standards, well, that's the global first-world norm, so I guess canucks don't stand out much, no. But that's hardly something to hold against the country... why would you want to 'stand out' at the expense of your convictions and your system?
