A couple of clips from my last session sand skiing.

Curious of the sand skiing experiences any of you have had. Did it work? Also Curious what the best type of sand and wax. I found the untouched windward side beach sand was by far the fastest and I was using Beast/Dominator Graphite wax. Really wanna bring along a big PVC Tube next time, anyone ever done that?

Post up some clips if you got em too, of yourself or others

Also an abandoned old gravel quary that we accidentally found while cutting firewood for an old lady from church on her farm> to

Sand boarding 1cuz ours is a private spot 2 cuz gravel slides and rolls on the bottom of your bord like barings instead of scraping your wax off3 we were In normal boots.

Yes it sucks having sand all up in your boots but, Bootpacking sand is pretty good training for backcountry pow jump sessions tho

do you just normally wax your skis with this wax? I saw a thread a while ago about attaching plastic to their bases, has anyone tried that?
 
Only really done it once but was cool riding dunes in Namibia was like aome floor polish wax. Was good for like 2 runs then slowed down fast.

OP looks like you had some good speed. Quality shit

Yea I waxed normally at home, then every run I would brass brush the dirty wax and sand out out of my base then I rubbed on more Beast 1G and buffed the wax in. Only seen Plastic attached the the base in Line Traveling Circus 3.1 and it didn't seem to work too good.
