so theres this hotel in north korea and its the biggest in the world but its been abandoned since 1987 and it looks like something out of the movies, check it out

It's not amazing, sorry.

It's the worst piece of architecture I've ever seen in my life.

It was never occupied. They ran out of money and stopped all construction of it.

This building took up almost all of North Korea's money since its a state project, and they totally drained their entire economy making it(just like the soviets did with their horrible space shuttle program with buran).

Something happened and its going to be renovated and completed for some odd reason. I think it would be best if someone just took a few bombs and dropped it on it to make a sweet implosion.
 
abandoned since 1992* and they have started work on it again I guess this year. Still a really cool find, I love abandoned stuff, theres an abandoned ww2 ammo plant near my house, its huge and awesome
 
would enough people go there for them to make a profit?

i didnt even think they allowed foreign tourists.
 
that looks like something las vegas would make.. kind of reminds me of a pyramid like the luxor. too bad they stopped making it
 
first of all thats sick, I would love to see like a discovery show on that

and second of all why is the crane talking in third person?
 
yea they really didnt think it through it was more of a pride thing. they do allow a certain amount of tourists in but only on very strict rules. Tourists are only taken to chosen spots by the government that shows off just how "great" their country is. And even if they didnt allow tourists in to stay at this hotel, the people of North Korea are hardly allowed to travel out of their town.

its a horrific place and I cant believe that in this time and age the world still allows this kind of place to exist.
 
he asked for it back one day.......nobody's heard of him since

that's fucking intense and a pure waste of materials, shows why north korea is such a fucked up place. you could make an epic water slide down that chute type thing on the side
 
thats sick,it looks like somthin out of halo

paintball in that place would be awsome but as the crazy goverment might cut your balls off for breaking in, not a great idea
