so injuries have really slowed my progress down this year.

new years day over shot to flat and broke my thumb: out for 2 weeks

last monday found out i had a blood clot and am now done for the season.

at least u didnt get the bloodclot in like december. u only missed like 5 days before hyland closed bud. look on the brightside

yes injuries are no fun.

ive been out since jan 27th cuz of a torn acl and meniscus in my left knee

cork 10's in the pipe are no good if you catch a tip at 9 and your leg stops spinning but your body doesnt

not to mention the part about falling to the bottom afterwards

hurray for surgery and for next season

broken thumbs aren't shit. i've fucked my thumbs up so many times. just tape them in place with athletic tape and your fine

yeah i broke my thumb the first friggen day this season, i just got a splint and kept going, i rebroke it 3 more times but then it healed up, and i got a hole in my elbow from skiing in a tshirt at heavenly and there was a screw sticking up from one of the boxes or something along those lines, oh and then i overshot a 50 foot table and landed on my back, so everytime i landed anything it hurt like fuck for the rest of the year, and now the snows pretty much gone, maybe 2 days of backyard left and another weekend at the hill, all things considered i had a good season.

but actually on topic ive never been injured enough that i had to not ski for more then 5 days, it would deff kill me.

no i did do no poles for prolly a month or so and my balance got a shitload better, im just pissed cuz i was supposed to go to mammoth for spring break and now i cant but oh well theres next year

last year I basicly degressed because of injuries. it was my first winter ever degressing...

but shit dude, injuries are a part of our sport. fuck it, they're a part of our life. without pain, you arn't alive.

on St. Patties day my friend broke his leg snowboarding into a tree. he wasn't even drunk yet!

haha walk it off

but that sucks, last season i broke my wrist 270ing onto a box, fell off and landed with my wrist on the metal part of my pole, i skiied with seran wrap over my cast, then when i got the cast off about a month later, the day after i got the cast off i thought i tweaked my shoulder, but when i went to manning the next day i broke it in the parking lot... while shifting my gear to the other hand to get past some people... it went POP and then i was out for the season

fucking collarbones...
