I'm so proud that this community has become such a mainstay in the ski industry that you can legitimately launch a career as a professional skier here with some solid edits, positive word of mouth and of course the skills. anyways, props NS, we are totally sick. everyone pat yourselves on the back.

I saw a thread where a kid asked about the ninthward henrik pro skis... henrik answered the questions himself... you would never see that anywhere else

too bad i don't have a camera, i don't know anybody on here, and i don't have the skills. but i love NS too.

For sure...anytime i got a question about anything, I can rely on almost everyone to answer, even the pros. And the best thing about this site is that the newbs like me can feel like we have a small part in the industry. The industry would be lost without NS. PROPS!!!!

yeah, its pretty crazy how fast things are moving in the industry now. imagine in ten years from now if you will be able to see young pros come up through the ranks of the site. most likely not, just because it will be too big then.

but everyone who remembers the beginnings of the site will recall the tight-knit community feeling.

its kind of a trade-off, isnt it. the bigger the site gets, the more awesome resources you will have at your disposal, but the less of a close knit "friends" feel you will have.

NS has done a great job over the years maintaining a good balance between the two while ushering in huge changes and upgrades to the site.

Ya for sure, i had asked what helmet it was that jossi wore in a thread, and he saw it and messaged me that day about what helmet he had and stuff, it is a really cool thing how pros like jon, clarke, jossi and everyone comes on NS

lol the funniest thing happened yesterday. i was telling my grnadmother about if3 and she said she alrdy new what it was about cuase there was advertisements in the newpaper and she new all about NS too. i loled it was great

always good to see positive vibes and props to NS...I didnt ski when I first got on NS, now, thanks to everyone here, I cant stop thinking about it

NS is sick no doubt. Its like the only sport with such a cool group of people and a sick website.

i just literally patted myself on the back...is that weird?

Awwww...I love all you guys! No hom.....well maybe a little bit this time

Seriously though, NS has taught me most of the stuff I know now, and I've even used it in science class today. We were doing this "science in the news" discussion and I brought up the mysterious object found with the hubble I read about in a thread this morning. Of course, I was asked to back it up and almost no one knew what NS was, but it felt really cool to be using stuff from here in school haha

NS is like no other, and I honestly think its made me love skiing more, I'd like skiing even if there was no NS (god forbid!), but not as much to make me quit hockey to ski more, get a job, make money, and then spend it all on skiing. Thanks for making life more fun NS!

For sure NS is the best sports related web site in the world. No action sports site has such a large fan base, and true industry pull. It's the only place that a 12 year old from Wisconsin could connect with a 21 year old from Oregon, and not have a pedophile law suit be filed. Its the most close-knit community out there, and despite the hate, it has a super upbeat atmosphere. Nowhere else could a talented grom could make a name for himself, hundreds of kids could photoshop Danny Kass, have contests for schwag and free camp sessions, and up-to-date news articles on everything and anything ski related. I love newschoolers.com

NS taught me everything I know about cameras. And thanks to non-ski gabber, I discovered a brand called Surface a while back...
